![]() Got myself a Baby Shock Serpent and evolved it to Mature Shock Serpent. I also checked with the Summon Wild Animal spell of the Arch Druid. Just to compare a regular T3 unit has 16 gold upkeep or a summoned T3 unit 18 mana upkeep.Īnd believe me I checked, both the gold and mana DO get deducted from your income. That's 28 resources per turn for a Tier 3 unit. I just made a new game on the current steam version and checked:Īn evolved Elemental costs 16 gold upkeep as well as the 12 mana upkeep for maintaining the Summon Lesser Elemental spell. ![]() I love the work you developers put into the game, it has been improving very rapidly imo.ģ+ Months later this is actually still the case. This may have been fixed now though, I haven't played arch druid in a long time. That I was paying mana upkeep for the summon spell (summon wild animal I believe the name is) as well as gold upkeep for their evolved forms (spider baby -> spider queen, baby serpents -> mature serpents). I remember doing the same thing a few months ago when I was playing druid and I got to the same conclusion there too. I did end up with 32 more gold and 24 more mana after I disbanded the elementals so that confirms it I guess. From my save I ended the turn without doing anything, and then I loaded, disbanded my 2 evolved elementals and ended turn again. Gold upkeep matched but the mana upkeep did not unless I counted the evolved elementals 12 mana upkeep (from summon lesser elemental) along with their 16 gold upkeep (their evolved form upkeep).īecause you said this could be the interface displaying the wrong value (not sure if you meant the income tabs or not) I just checked. First I looked at my total upkeep (both gold and mana upkeep) and added the upkeep of each unit I had to see if they matched. ![]() I have a game saved where I have 2 evolved elementals and tried a few things. ![]()
